This is another Ford that Irish people like a lot; it has been a big seller for years. It has acres of space in the cabin, a huge and easily accessible boot, and comes with a really good level of standard kit and technology. You can fit five in what is a comfortable cabin with excellent seats and plenty of leg and head room. Everything is easy to use and there is a sense of really good quality materials helping it to feel a bit upmarket. Despite some tweaks/upgrades to its appearance, it is unmistakably a Mondeo. It has a great chassis, meaning you will be hard pushed to find a better driver in terms of handling and ride. There’s a good range of petrol and diesel engines. The diesels are excellent and keep road tax well down as well as the fuel bills with 45mpg easily attainable in everyday driving.
